Oral Cancer is a very common cancer. Oral cancer occurs in approximately 60-70% of people. There are many reasons for this, but the most important one is tobacco consumption.
Whenever a patient with oral cancer or mouth cancer comes for treatment, an allopathic biopsy is performed initially. A piece of the suspected cancer is sent for testing. Once confirmed, a CT scan, or if necessary, a PET CT scan, is performed for cancer staging. Surgery is decided based on the staging.
In first-stage cancer, the cancerous tumor is removed through surgery.
But many patients say they’re afraid of surgery. If so, can they try Ayurvedic or homeopathic treatment? Surgery is the gold standard treatment for oral cancer, and further treatment, whether chemotherapy or radiation, is determined based on the report.
