Unlike other cancers, the 4th stage of head & neck cancer (oral cancer) is also curable. The 4th stage of oral cancer has been divided into 3 stages – 4A, 4B & 4C
Till stage 4A & 4B the head & neck cancer is curable & treatable. Stage 4C is the last stage of oral cancer that cannot be treated. That is why doctors ask patients to consult a specialist as soon as they find out the initial symptoms without any further delay.
Early detection of cancer is very important for effective treatment.
In the last stage, the cancer patients face difficulties such as –
- Rigidity in tongue
- Difficulty in eating
- Continuous pain in the ears
- Breathing problems
